Updates and fixes
What changed in each version. 0.8.1 was the first public version; what comes before it is development history.
-
0.8.1.1
- Two fixes for the WoW: Forever launch, no new features.
- FLC's "Quests" window now takes the game's quest tracker's place, under the minimap and its clock, at any resolution. If you moved it, it stays where you put it.
- A step that needs a higher level now says the level ("Requires level 10") instead of "Requires level 0".
- Tested with game client 1.60.1.70755.
-
0.8.1
- First public version.
- Guides window (/flc guides): choose what to follow, leveling routes by zone or dungeon and raid guides, with their levels and your progress. "Automatic" gives the choice back to FLC.
- Quests by themselves: FLC accepts and turns in the guide's quests, never in combat or with Shift held. On a reward choice it never picks: it marks the one that helps you. /flc auto or Options to turn it off.
- Minimap button: left click shows or hides FLC; right click opens Guides, Loot Atlas, Party Mode, Appearance, Options and Report a bug. Shift + drag moves it.
- Dungeon (23) and raid (12) guides, the boss card, class and dungeon quest advisors, the Smart Loot Advisor and the Loot Atlas with a wishlist.
- Adaptive look with a welcome setup on the first start (/flc setup).
- /flc review and /flc bug prepare a text for our public reports page; /flc version tells you when someone in your group has a newer version.
-
0.8.0-rc3
- Dungeon guides for 23 dungeons and guides for 12 raids: the way in, quest objectives inside, every boss in the game's order and the way out.
- Boss card: abilities by who they go at, with your role highlighted. Abilities not confirmed yet show "(?)".
- Dungeon Quest Advisor, Smart Loot Advisor and the Loot Atlas with a wishlist.
- Skins and "Adapt to my interface": ElvUI, NDui, RealUI, SpartanUI and GW2 UI, plus a welcome setup the first time FLC starts.
- /flc bug and /flc review: a report window ready to copy into the public reports page.
- Data that is not confirmed yet is now labeled "in review", so players can tell us what the game shows.
- /flc version tells you which version you have; if someone in your group has a newer one, FLC lets you know.
-
0.6.0
- Leveling path 1–60: for each race, which zone comes next and when to go back to one. /flc path and /flc guide auto.
- Class Quest Advisor: the class quests worth doing, with Do it now, Later, Skip and Details.
- More quests in routes, and later visits of a zone for quests far above its level.
- Fix: turn-ins are no longer forgotten when the game confirms them late.
- Fix: Party Mode now recognizes characters with a surname.
-
0.5.0
- How to get there: for far steps, a travel plan with flight masters, boats, zeppelins, portals and the Hearthstone.
- Approach hints: stairs, detours and water on the last stretch, with intermediate points for the arrow.
- Installation steps in Spanish and English inside the download.
-
0.4.0
- Steps no longer get stuck when the game numbers a quest's objectives differently: FLC finds each objective by its text.
- Repeatable quests left the routes, since the game never marks them completed.
- Routes for the Skyborne races and Zephras Isle.
- Party Mode is more reliable: members no longer stay "pending", and rejoining members are picked up at once.
- The arrow uses much less memory while you stand still.
-
0.2.1 – 0.3.0
- Fix: Party Mode now matches group members on WoW Forever, which sends names without a realm.
- Fix: party messages that arrive before the group list updates are no longer lost.
-
0.1.0
- First development build: the guide engine, the arrow, the quest tracker with party announcements, Party Mode (Help Player, Level Together, Catch-Up, Dungeon Focus, leader proposals) and an English and Spanish interface.
